I just learned about this. Between about 2005 and 2008 I spoke almost daily (via Email mostly)with Ed Brown and basically picked his brain for everything he knew about black powder motors and Estes Mabel history.
WE went in together to purchase the federal case file of Estes vs Carlisle.
I'm sorry to hear of his passing.
