Now with the charge retainer marked with the dots and the model's body marked with the strips and Sharpie lines I use a fresh #11 blade and slit out small squares into the raw paper of the body tube where the adhesive is going to be applied.
I then place a small amount of 15 minute epoxy at each of the (4) locations and then I lay the charge retainer in place using the aforementioned dots and marked strips as my alignment guide.
I then hold the charge retainer in position until the epoxy hardens enough for me t o let go.
I then remove the strips and dots.
See? I told you I over-engineered this!
My brain hurts. I'll do the other charge retainer tomorrow.
