Season 3 is out? I see a binge watching session in my near future.

I'm actually surprised there are model rockets on the set. The Duffer brothers were born in the mid 80's, so the age we tend to get into rocketry was already heavily dominated by game consoles and personal computers in the mid 90's. Model rocketry was at a pretty low point on a kid's radar. I guess the brothers deferred set decor to older folks.
