I've got several of those old lead weights around the house somewhere (might be challenge to find them though). Never occurred to me they might be valuable...
Way back in the early 1970s, I was at a rocketry competition in the Denver area. Someone had an appropriate mold, so the night before several of us sat around melting fishing weights to pour in the mold to make the lead payload weights for the competition the next day.
Might have lost a few IQ points doing that  |
