Hey, don't sweat it Mark. I thought maybe Tripper was saying 29mm when he meant 24mm, which ended up being the case.

Modifying the Saturn 1B itself isn't as difficult as it may seem. Believe me, I was pretty nervous about it, but I had a good mentor. If anyone is serious about doing this, I'll try to provide any info or guidance as needed. There's only a few extra parts that are required. The amount you have to cut away from the tanks becomes apparent once the BT70 is in place. You just hold the tubes up to it and mark them as necessary.

The hardest part was making the custom rings to fit inside the BT70 couplers for the motor mount housings. You could probably buy some standard sized BT70 rings from BMS and cut them down to fit. Again, I used the circle cutter and fabricated them myself from matte board. This is where a kit would be handy where you'd get the custom rings, 4" section of BT70, BT70 couplers, an extra TR115, couple extra motor hooks, maybe some washers(just in case).
