You could actually see the mount ejecting in the video. That was also one clean-cut blow out line around the tube.

Still had a good boost, up to that point.

I have built and flown my Ascendant as well as her Periwinkle. Both are open fin designs.

The Ascendant is heavy and requires a C6-3. Her's flies about the same as the Goblin.

Built and flown. Motors I remember using with good results: D12-5, F20-7W & F27-8R and several flights with Ellis G35-10 (now out of production). D12-5 for a great low altitude flight and easy recovery close to pad with streamer. F and G motors, choose longest delay possible. Great early sounding rocket design and can be dropped fast with streamer without damage. One of my personal favorites to bring to the big field in Winnsboro, LA.

Will soon be posting the Centuri AEC design file to BARCLONE. I have a few proven flights on it ..... just need to tweak the RockSim files since they were originally made in or around 2007 in the days before we had better SEMROC parts databases in RockSim to design with so all the part numbers/descriptions may not be 100% accurate so I was going to correct as much as I could before posting.
