Braving the winds, the wires and the cars for an eight flight day. |
Ya just had to scuff up the pretty little scale BB III, didn't you?
I need to get you hooked on draggy low altitude rockets for your B6-4 field. |
Nice Flight Report, as always, Bill !
That supposed "Honest John" however is FAR too ugly to ever deserve a motor again ! Unless....You GLUE IT IN along with gluing in the nose cone, giving it an "El Destructo"/Explodor flight profile. A SU Aerotech 18mm D21 would do a great job for that. High-Altitude Destructive DITCH-O-MATIC ! |

:chuckle: :chuckle: I have several that are candidates, but this one might be ready for the biggest load. And bang. |

I didn't. US 27 did. I was impressed with the people swerving so they didn't hit it. I'm loaded with draggy stuff, but I'm dealing with a backlog of never flown and not flown for years birds that I'm trying to work through. Ironically, the BB III was last flown here last year. It was an impulse fly. |

Of all the ugly rockets I’ve seen, your Honest John is/was the best! (That may not have sounded like a compliment … ) :p |

I'd love to know the story behind it. I have a Shrike that's pretty close to being as ugly. |
