Eggnog time is here again!
Got my first half gallon this week.
Got to get more.

My favorite store bought eggnog is from Oberweiss Dairy--made right here in Aurora, IL, and sold in 1/2 gallon returnable bottles. Expensive--but worth it.

It's so thick and rich it's almost like drinking mucous!

Well, it looks like I’ll have to wait. I just remembered that Oberwiess Dairy doesn’t start making their eggnog until November—-and I’m spoiled for anything else. :(

I am not sure I’ve ever seen eggnog in the stores until December. Maybe it’s a regional thing. Probably a good thing too — I’d look like a blimp if I started drinking it this early, and continued thru the Christmas season.
