Thanks, Semroc!

As a BAR with my roots in the early 60s, I grew up with the Estes K series kits, with my first rocket being their V-2. I am now a retired GI, and am a scale fanatic. with an emphasis on military birds. With the availability of Semroc's parts, I have been able to reproduce a Nike-X, an upscale Honest John, and have a Nike Ajax in progress. I have also been able to begin the conversion of a 1/72 plastic R-7 to a Vostok and I have gathered the parts I need to do an upscale VF-261. Now on to the Titan II! Looking forward to more scale stuff in the future.

Thanks, Semroc!

I too recently returned to the hobby. I built my first rocket in the fourth grade, which would put it about 1968/69. It was an Astron Alpha and I plastered so much paint on it, it's a miricle it even got off the pad!

My current goal is to rebuild all those rockets I totally screwed up as a kid and see if i can do a better job this time :chuckle:

Of course part of the problem is my aging mind just can't remember all of them.

Semroc has been a savior as I look to rebuild all those OOP models from my past
