In N Out Berger
In N Out Berger.
I know we had this conversation before, JJ chime in! I had my first In N Out Berger last Sunday. Awesome. They put all the other chains to shame except maybe 5 Guys. IDK....Yet? |
I hope In-n-Out makes it up to the Portland area soon.
I make a point of buy a couple burgers, fries, and a shake whenever I visit CA. (There are some In-N-Outs in southern Oregon now, a good excuse to take a break in Medford.) |
FatbUrger and my local chain Halo Burger (with GREEN Olives, deluxe ALWAYS) are both better than In-N-Out BUrger.
I have no idea what a BErger is other than a Chevrolet dealership. :D Five Guys doesn't even make my top 10 chains. Fairly Decent Burger, but ABSURD price in my area. A combo of a tiny double cheeseburger/fries/drink is over TEN BUCKS in my area, which is insanity. Going there twice on insistence of one of my coworkers was about 1.5 tines too much. If they were serving 1/2lb+ ELK or MOOSE Burgers the price would be justified. Caribou I'd pay even more. |
In N Out is fairly wildly over-rated. Typical of the coasts to trumpet something of their doing that way. The truth is that WataBurger is superior, but location makes all the difference in the world.
All of our Five Guys went away. Likely because they had a tendency to re-fry fries instead of making a new batch. People around here notice stuff like that. I miss Fudruckers. |

MOPAR=MOPIG or NOPAR.
I like that FIAT acronym. There is a reason why they were not sold in the USA for about 40 years just like Renault, Peugeot, Citroen, and Opel. Bunch of junk. Would rather sit in a DEAD GM or Ford than ride in any of that gahhhrrrbage. Smartest thing GM has done in 50 years was to Sell-Off/Ditch all the GM-Europe brands. Has been a gigantic drag on General Motors since WWII. Amazing they got another company to purchase them. I would never own a automobile from an asian manufacturer nor a USA manufacturer motorcycle. Asian manufacturers place powertrains only worthy of motorcycles in most of their cars. American motorcycles are vastly OVERPRICED heavy turds with junk V-twin motors unfit to use in TRACTORS tuned by John Deere let alone motorcycles. My idea of worthwhile motorcycles are for on-road a Suzuki Hayabusa and for off-road a Suzuki TWO-STROKE RM250. While I don't have a Hayabusa, I own and have owned RM250s for decades. I HATE 4-Stroke dirt bikes. |

Arctic Circle is a Western US chain that started in Salt Lake City and expanded into Idaho. I was raised on their food, since we didn't have a McDonald's in our area until I was in 4th grade. Obviously the classical conditioning had already set in by that time. And the flavor of Arctic Circle's food is consistent, so I always know what I'm going to be getting. |
