I thought I would start another thread to give you folks some new ideas.
I have done some interesting searches lately at e-bay and have borrowed some photo's from space books, vintage sci-fi, vintage comics, vintage sci-fi models, etc...

The Minds eye is all about interpertation of a given photo or drawing. What one person see and details one way, another person details it different. Its never right or wrong it's just different and original.

Rules:
1. I will post some thumbnails to give some inspiration and you Rocksim your version of what you see. Use any motors and make it flight stable by a 1. margin.
2. Post only the rocksim file and NO images of your design. ( Images may change someone view). When we have a few designs of a image then we will post the images.
3. Try using only Semroc parts. Not all Semroc parts are in the Rocksim Database so check online with Carl at Semroc.

Tip: Many of these inspiration images are flight unstabe and its our job change the design to a workable one. Thats the fun part ;) .
Keep in mind this is not a competition and the only winners are all of us in the the sport of model rocketry :D .

Here are the first Images of many to come!

This is what I have come up with so far on this one.
I had to move the fins to the rear for staility reasons but I don't think it took away from the original too much. Also decided to add a little color to the center tube as well :D .

Enjoy and Thanks Again, JP

Here is another vintage image design from an old sci-fi magazine I borrowed ;) from e-bay.
This one turned out to be fairly stable as it was originally drawn, which is a rare case with these vintage designs.

Thanks and Enjoy, JP
