Another "Schoolyard Sounder". A simple two-stage design for 13mm engines.

Diameter: 0.908" (ST-8)
Fin Span: 3.71"

The only engine combination recommended is the A10-0T to 1/2 A3-4T. Reaches safe flight V on a standard 36" x 1/8" launch rod.

Average altitude is 420'. Average Dv is 17 FPS. Recovery is via 10" parachute (a SEMROC 12" parachute, cut down to 10").

I like this for the same reasons. A ~1" diameter 2-stager on T motors is well suited for small field flying. I've come close to cooking up something like this before. Then I realized, I already had one - a Midget. Several, in fact :D

BTW, using your Rocksim file, I get a dv of 11.5ft/sec using the A3-4T as a sustainer. Altitude is less school-yard-friendly at 642', but it seems like a reasonable motor option, space permitting.

Nice one. Getting ready for the "coming soon" reintroduced A10-0Ts, eh? I probably have everything I need to build this one on hand.....

I seem to be getting higher Dv's on my runs, anywhere from 20 FPS up to 36 FPS. The test with the 1/2 A3-4T gave me the Dv range I liked, so I kept it.

Also, an early test was using a 1x24 streamer, so the altitude risk could be reduced.

Yeah, been wanting to do two-stagers for a long time, just not with B6 or C6 power. BARCLONE Field is a nice schoolyard; most in this county don't have anything nearly as large and as open as this one.
