Quite Large Bertha

Here's a rocket I call the QL Bertha (QL=Quite Large) . It's been flown twice, and zippered twice. Now, with a band of 'glass around the forward ~10" of rocket, here's hoping that the 3rd time will indeed be the charm :) It's a full 2x upscale (3.2" od) and not a Super Big Bertha.

The paint scheme for this rebuild was inspired by one of Buzz McDermott's classic clones.

I have an H210 Redline I hope to put it up on this weekend.

That's a beauty, Doug! I can almost imagine the roar of that motor getting off. Does it have the same "feel" as the original, with a slower grunt off the pad as opposed to a quick scoot?

Drawings? :D

At over three pounds, it's spectacular off the rod. On its first flight, it used an H70. Nice majestic climb. On the second flight, it had an H125. Quicker off the rod, but still had a long coast to apogee. I think the H210 will make for a great flight without being neck-snapping.
