Is there a STL file for the Flis Stingray nose cone out there?

I have enough picture res to reproduce the nose cone but not too scale. to make it to scale I need the major diameter of the cone.
I will start working on it tonight. if anyone has that diameter I can make it to scale. attached is the 1/2 outline of the cone (I am going to use this to revolve a 3D Shape) but again without a dimension I can't scale it. |
Erockets still has a couple in stock.

Here is a clean STL copy of that nose cone. its not "to scale" as I don't know what the scale is. you can of course scale it as you see fit. if someone measures the major diameter I will correct that and put it on printables/thingiverse.
ok FILE CORRECTED or at least REALLY close. looks like it was for a BT50 which is 24mm id (24.1mm) so I scaled it to that which gives a major dia or 32mm this should be 99% their. STL corrected. if you downloaded before I edited this redownload or resize your file to 32mm https://www.printables.com/model/52...iskits-stingray https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6123387 I added an easy print threaded 2 piece version to both listing though thingiverse is being slow to update. |

That is the nose cone for the original Estes Honest John kit. BMS still lists it too: https://www.balsamachining.com/# Or you can buy the kit from the reconstituted FlisKits: https://www.fliskits.com/WPRESS/product/stingray/ Bill |

While both the Semroc and BMS cones share the "AD" designation the BMS cone is NOT the same as the Stingray/Semroc cone. IIRC Semroc turned cones for Fliskits. See attached pic. |

Nope, not the same. Note the turned flange above the shoulder. Same nose cone also used in the Fliskits K'Tinga. |
