Estes Vampire is to the Jinx as the Estes Banshee is to ?????

I asked about this a while back on TRF and got an incorrect answer. I was able to clone the Vampire using a then available Estes Jinx, but was the Firing Line Banshee ever available as a kit after the Firing Line disappeared?

I am going to say the original molds for the Banshee and X-15 were never used to make a "different" named version like the Vampire. I certainly would like to know if someone could say otherwise.

I don't recall any other solid plastic "kits" of that size. What was the incorrect TRF answer?

I didn't even think about the X-15. Forgot that this one was a 13mm version.

Yes, but...
The 1998 plastic Banshee is different and larger. The 70's Banshee was a stubby little rocket.

Hence the incorrectness of the TRF answer.

The TRF part whizzed past my inattentiveness. Of course... they post a lot of dopey stuff over there.

The 98 Banshee had a thick paper body tube. It's just an early E2X kit vs the all plastic 70's version.

I can't see how even a TRF'r could screw it up that bad.

Yes I can. :D :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
