Welcome back Christian - post pics of your finished Interceptor - certainly my favorite Estes sci-fi design. It used to be a tough kit to clone, sure is nice that it's been re-released (again). Hopefully Estes will re-release the "E" version for 29mm BP motors.

This is an older post but I wanted to contribute.

Been reading about loops for the chute I made. I'm terrible tying knots.

This end loop for attaching chute lines was easy. I only needed 2 turns around the main line.

This one for loop in the shock cord. It took alot more practice.

With all the news about potential Talc contamination with Asbestos I'm wondering if a complete shift to just using powdered chalk instead wouldn't be a much better idea.
There is NO amount of safely inhaled Asbestos.
Yeah, yeah, I know I'm the last person to usually beat on any safety issues.

I get a little stink-eye from my wife. She inspects me for glitter when I come home smelling like baby powder.

Sprinkle some glitter on a few dollar bills and leave them laying conspicuously. See how long it takes for the temperature to go up a few degrees in the house. :chuckle:
