I'll try to remember to check when I get home.

Thank you, Bill--I appreciate it! The manual itself contains the other necessary patterns (such as for the hot-air paddle wheel used in Experiment #5), and all of the other experiments can use substitute airplane or rocket kits, or home-made parts--just a few "pivotal" components are on the separate cardstock sheet(s). I'm compiling a list of substitute plane & rocket kits that she could use to conduct the experiments in the manual.

Incidentally, I like the Airwalker--which you flew sans clear payload section, as your blog photographs show--sometimes less is more, and such Estes "Quick Kits" (using the Quest term; I forget Estes', *if* they have a term for such ARTF--Almost-Ready-To-Fly--kits) have grown on me.

The one dimension of this kit I'm sure of is the diameter is way too small.

I relegate BT20/ST7 and smaller rockets to "Fire and Forget" one-time missions with the largest possible motor. Aerotech D10 and D21 engines are good for that.

So do I, if/once they're too "ratty" from many flights (on lower-power, recommended motors). I did that with the predominantly blue rocket in the RTF Estes X-Flyers pair; it vanished, with a staccato sizzing sound, on an Aerotech D21 motor, moving so rapidly that one instant it was plainly visible on the launcher, and was just gone the next instant. Looking up, I saw a pencil-thin blue smoke trail far overhead, so high up that the parachute deployment wasn't visible, not even the ejection puff.
