Just thought I'd let you guys know there is an update to Rocksim that fixes a bug that caused the program to crash whenever you tried to add to the tube database. It also says it increases stability under Mac OSX Lion. It did not fix the problem I had with motors disappearing from the motor selection screen. After sending an email to Apogee, Tim wrote back and said that it is a problem with the manufacturer filter. If this ever happens to any of you, select no manufacturer (the blank option) and no type (again, the blank option instead of single use, reload able, etc.). The motor size filter does not seem to be giving me any trouble, and with the other two filters on blank, I just get all motors of a specific size from all manufacturers.

[Snipped material...]

Changes for version 9.1.1f118

Updated licensing software to the latest version. This was done to address problems with Mac OS X 10.7 LION.
Fixed Rocket - Database Edit - Database files that contained invalid mass units were crashing RockSim. The fatal error check has been removed.

Thanks, Greg!

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed the last (Apogee) update to RockSim was over a year ago?

Yep, it's been a while. So long that every time I opened the program I usually forced a check for updates to be sure it was looking for them .....

:)

Thanks Greg for the heads up!
