Just plugged in my DSL connection. Amazing: I can watch videos online of birds getting hit by a baseball now!!

Jeez, if Carl would only release the Saturn 1B, I could wouldn't mind turning 51 this month.
As much, anyway... ;)

In 1983 Dave Winfield, of the New York Yankees, threw a ball that hit a seagull at Toronto's Exhibition Stadium. Believe it or not Dave was charged with cruelty to animals. The charge was later dropped.

He was just trying to scare the bird to get it out of harms way. I had the same thing happen with a frog on a frozen lake. I was throwing rocks out in front of him to break off the ice so he could get back to the water. The last one landed right on him within inches of the edge. Ruined my whole Sunday. :( :D

Oh, I'm just not that good of shot with my golf clubs, I mean to hit a bird and all, or were you not aiming for it... :p

No, I just never thought of the idea of aiming anything that I hit with my golf clubs. I thought the golf gods just dealt with that ol' banana hookin' ball whatever way they chose. :rolleyes: :D ;)
