Default Ranger

Here's my son's latest project. It's a hybrid. He took a BB kit, put a 24mm mount in it like the 80's Ranger kit, and gave it a paint job like a 1971 Ranger.

He took a few pictures of it.

With my 1969 Bertha.

With a few other Berthas.

Thanks guys. As soon as the Tri-Fold glue dries on the shock cord, it will be ready to fly (if the wind ever quits blowing and the rain stops ).

I like the 71 Ranger paint job.
What did you use as a guide in determining what colors go where?

I used Ninfinger .

Click on "1971 Estes Catalog" about 1/3 the way down the page. Then, click Astron Ranger, Astron Cherokee-D, or Astron Cobra. It doesn't matter; they're all on the same page.
