All the search results at Office Depot for "110 Pound Cardstock" include the basis in the item title.

Index
Cover
Bristol

Those terms, plus 110 lb, tell you what you're getting if you go look at my post on the other forum.

OfficeMax and OfficeDepot have been the same company for ten years, so I'd expect some streamlining of their products. However, I would have figured the OfficeMax brand would have been the one to slip the surly bonds of earth.

Default Cardstock Equivalent Chart

I made a PDF years ago about cardstock equivalent weights and how to compare to what works the best: gsm

In the USA you have to understand, BASIS SHEET SIZE and other crazy ways of measurement.

gsm weighs all the paper at the same size. gsm is the only true way of comparing the different cardstock. period.

Now if you want the best looking printed graphics. COVER cardstock has some of the best brightness numbers. The higher the number the better prints look. White is brighter, when comparing to INDEX and TAG they look yellow tinted, due to the higher levels of sulfur used in the process to make.

Cover is a tough cardstock-main purpose is menus and such that are handled daily. This is what I use.

I hope this helps clarify some of the problems with deciding what cardstock to use.

Life in the way, been sometime since I 've visited, Squamous cell carcinoma battle.

Best regards,
Mike

Default Basis Weight: Use GSM to Compare

Basis weight is the size of the sheet they weigh. 500-sheets of Cover is going to weigh different than Index because the sheet sizes are different.

Basis Weight sheet sizes weighed:
Cover Basis Weight SHEET size: 20"x26" [508mm x 660.4mm] weighed 500 sheets at this size

Index Basis Weight Sheet Size: 25.5" x 30.5" [647.7mm x 774.7mm]

Tag Basis Sheet Size: 24" x 36" [609.6mm x 914.4mm]

Grams Per Square meter basis sheet size is the only weigh to see how they actually compare.

All sheets are measured 1m x 1m [39.34" x 39.34"] or 1000mm x 1000mm: Does not matter the brand, type of cardstock, copy paper or thickness and paper properties.

To get the best looking prints use the Highest Brightness numbers you can find.

The US method is brain damage possible, to understand.....

Be sure to look at the GSM rating to compare if the package has it.

Attaching a chart I made to show the thickness of each type, Cover, index, tag. These are the types I tested, nothing against vellum or bristol, just chose not to test them.

The next chart was designed to show how many laminates of each to get a specified thickness.

Also attached is something I couldn't find anywhere: Tested for strength Chart-this chart is very specific for the brand tested. Each brand of paper is different as shown.

Hope this helps.

Mike
