It sure beats all the trouble of treating and drying TP to make wadding. Besides you can use it for a St. Louis arch effect!

I use it too but I get it from Hobby Lobby usually July 5 when all the 4th of july stuff goes on sale for $0.10 a roll.

Of course it's red, white and blue but the price is right.

Treated blue shop towels make very nice wadding.

I reuse Estes wadding. One or two school launches will net enough for a year or more's worth of home launches. Give the kids a few small plastic bags and they will have the playground clear and your bags full in no time.

I love how a plugged motor thread has turned into a recovery wadding thread.

At least we're still talking rocketry.

Normally, by now, we'd be discussing small block Chevys or talking about an upper decker

C'mon noww....have kept it rocketry related for months now.

I haven't brought up the Upper-Dekker, Logg-Jamm, Topp-Shelvor, Old Faithful, or Dry-Dokker in a LONG time. Is it time again for a thread-jakk into prrrrrankin' ?

Just kidding....

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

That's what I mean. I'm kinda disappointed it became a polar opposite rocketry topic and didn't go completely off the reservation.

Maybe I should help....

Sample Derailment Topics:
deodorant
lethal toenail clippings
cinder blocks
packing peanuts
glow sticks
canvas
zippers
sporks
toe rings
puberty
Dr. Pimple Popper
belly button lint

OMG!!

My wife and I just saw the commercial for the Dr. Pimple Popper TV show the other day.

I think I averted my innocent eyes before it was over ...

Just depends on where you live. Our club has been doing a yearly rocket launch for 12 years with a local 8th grade middle school class. The teacher has them all build Alphas and we RSO and take the club launch equipment and run a launch for them. The kids prep them in class and bring them out ready to slide on the rod. They get pretty creative with the paint schemes too.

It's a lot of fun and normally about 300+ students per event, 8:15 am to 1:15 pm.
