I had mine for years one of those thing that went into the parents crawlspace when I joined the Marine Corps in 78 and my dad got rid of in the 90s when they moved to a retirement community
I remember he called me nad asked "Do you want any of your old stuff from under the house?" I was still on active duty and getting ready to PCS to Pearl Harbor som I told him no sell it at your garage sale. Wish I could change that.
somebody in Colorado Springs Colorado got all my stuff for cheap😒

I went into my files and pulled out my Vol. 11, No. 1 January 1971 issue of Estes Model Rocket news.

Attached are a few pictures. It appears I used some of the coupons for a rocket order back then.

Default 4 great kits!

Bob,

Great post!

Demon, Bandit, SkyDart, and Mark II all on one page!

Sure wish I'd remembered the Follow Apollo...must have been a bit out of the loop at the time.

Bob

I am planning to follow Orion, at least the planned June launch of the Ascent-Abort-2 test, or as I like to call it, the Little Joe III.

Very nice Space Certificate Flash. By 1971 I had stopped my Estes rocket hobby, cars and girls, redirected my interests. Would love to find one of the Estes Follow Apollo in 71 brochures and Space Certificates
