1st Choice- Bring back the K-21 Gemini Titan, with ZERO plastic parts except the clear fins just like the original.
2nd Choice- Bring back the Nike Ajax.

Thanks John for letting us weigh in. I'm going to second the vote for a REAL scale Vostok or Soyuz. Maybe use blow-molded plastic for the boosters to have a rigid shape but still be somewhat lightweight. Plus, once you have the basic R-7 core, you can do the SS-6 ICBM, Sputnik, Luna, Soyuz, Molniya, etc. Or let modelers bash the kits! A plastic interstage truss would be totally awesome! The world needs this kit!
Definitely prefer plastic transitions. Shaping fins and conduits is OK by me, though I think built-up cardstock works too. One other SLV I'd like to see is the Diamant. The multi-faceted transition begs for a plastic piece. And you guys would get the decals right. The Japanese Mu-3S would also be really cool. On the missile front, a full-up SA-2 (not just the sustainer, a la Rocketarium) would be cool. Do it single-stage and let modelers go two-stage. The SA-3 would be cool, even more so if the fins hinged from "stowed" to "flight" positions just like the real thing. For a US model, do the Nike Hercules! Again - your plastic would make it awesome! My final "bring it back" recommendation is the Scud. This kit also sells for a fortune every time one hits Ebay - and I refuse to believe people buy the D.A.R.T. for the sake of the D.A.R.T. They want the nose cone! If you want to make it interesting, offer markings for several countries, e.g., Russia, Egypt, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Vietnam, North Korea, Libya, etc. Bad guy missiles are OK too |

As much balsa as possible, especially fins. Probably not what you had in mind but I like bomarcs.

I'd like to see scales of more current rockets that had big impact - like Deltas IVs, Protons, Ariane, Long March, etc. If there are scale variants to the build that could be included, that would be better, so that a build could be customized and made personal.
I do so much scratch building, that I'm looking for aspects in a kit that are hard to do by hand. Rivets, seams in metal, contoured shapes, etc. You know, the stuff that people who build plastic models always get, but people with cardboard and balsa as a palette have a hard time getting. Sanding, cutting, and shaping aren't the differentiators to me. It's the level of detail that's offered, whether in embossed paper, or even vacuform or injection molded parts. |

How about a Delta?
The Spirit Mars Rover bird comes to mind, along with early Thrust augmented Deltas. The TAD could be tough (would need clear fins, IMHO) but you might find a way to make the straight 8 Delta for Spirit work.
