Never built a Rogue in any size, but always liked that design.
About 10 years ago somebody was offering I think a BT-70 or BT-80 based version that I almost purchased.
I think it may have been Q-Modeling. I also remember it being 29mm powered.
The original Rogue is a little small for my taste, but would purchase one in the future if anyone offers one in BT-55 / 24 mm or larger.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, and HAVOC !

I have the Q-Modeling version. That's why I was pulling so hard for them to resurface. It's a GREAT kit. I believe it's BT-60. The last time I flew mine was the last NARAM in Cincinnati, 2011, I think. It was so hot that week that the tip of the nose cone melted sitting in my car with the windows down. It has a pronounced lean to it now.

This is an Estes Sentinel that I had sitting around nekkid since 2005 until I finally got off my duff and ordered a decal set from Excelsior in 2012. It made all the difference in the world.

The Estes Defender was another long timer, predating even the Sentinel. I started this project just because I had the clone laying around.

The Centuri Python Fighter was one of the least durable designs ever, which is why I never fly it. Those chevron-shaped finlets are incredibly fragile, even with the strengthening spar. I won several of these nose cones in an Ebay auction and built all three of the kits that used it, this one, the Attack Craft Orion and Manta Bomber.

I have an original Manta Bomber and Attack Craft Orion.
The Manta Bomber was one of the coolest futuristic designs ever kitted.
The early to mid 1980's was the absolute best era for Estes futuristic designs.

Nice Defender !

Yeah. All the paint is airbrushed on... Wicked Colors & AutoAir from Createx. The black pattern wasn't hard. The hard part was the nose cone.

Nice Sentinel... you may just have given me the bug to build a few scales. But I'm working on some Arapahoes before I get to it.

Here's a scratched Starship Vega (from right before SEMROC started kitting them). Thanks to Excelsior the decals came out fine.

At a club someone said "Wow! That looks just like the original!" My reply was something to the effect of "Well, that's the point!"

Gordy rocks

Wow. Nice stuff there 'Fish and Marc.

And yep—Gordy's decals are the Katz PJ's. I feel another order coming on.

I have some of Gord's fantastic decals, but haven't had time to start on the projects. I need to buy more now he's back up and running. You know, just in case I get time for those projects.

I have no idea what you mean. Also, I lie a lot.

I've been trying to talk myself into building the Rose-a-Roc next, but I seem to be losing the argument. Myself seems to be in the mood for something simpler. Might finally be time to build the Honest Goon.
