Fleet Photos
This isn't all of my rockets, but it's a start. Some are packed away, some are buried in the attic under other rockets, and some I've forgotten where I've put them. I've got several more unfinished rockets that are packed away waiting warm painting weather. Most of my old HPR rockets are stuffed in the garage since I don't fly them anymore, but my 4" Cherokee and Goblin are in the attic pictures.
I'm using my old camera instead of the new SLR so the bandwidth issues won't be quite as intense. |

Impressive!
How come some are in the attick, is it just a matter of not having the space to display them? |

To be honest, I think I deserve one of those Firefighter of the Year awards. After all, I DID save the entire VOA from incineration last spring.
Although I guess that little technicality of having STARTED the fire might be cause for my disqualification.

Most of them are in there because I don't have room for them, but others have some damage and whatnot. I used to go down to Huntsville and fly with the guys from HARA at the old airport back in the late 80's and early 90's when visiting the in-laws about 60 miles from there. I've got several rockets with tons of damage from the asphalt runways....either from landings or being dragged across them after the landings. It seemed like the wind was always blowing at just under hurricane force when I was there.
I got the FFOY the first year the award was presented in 1994. You couldn't get the award more than once, so after the rest of them got one, they quit giving the award. That pretty much watered down the significance of it for me. Well, at least I was the first to get it. |

FSI Black Brant - II?
Is that a FSI Black Brant - II next to the unfinished Saturn - V and Pershing?
Otherwise, that's a heck of a collection you got! And very nice too!

Depends on the motor size.

Yea really, as an ex-fireman Tim, you should know better than to have all those combustibles in your attic . Major fire hazard!

That's a 4" diameter Cherokee upscale, so it's got 3X the R factor of the original! |
