Sod Farm 1/5/13
Is anyone coming to to the sod farm this Saturday? I just wanted to get a feel for the turn out because I'm bringing a new guy with his two grandkids. And I was wondering what the parking is like with the snow.

I don't imagine there's much snow, maybe Dan can scan the scene for us. I won't be there, just found out my daughter has a second basketball game. I think Russ is going to be there, he can pull you out if you get stuck.

Last week it was not bad so I would say it is a go. Not sure if I will be working or not. Paul K will be the proxy voice of reason if needed.

Happy New Year Woosh Memebers,
I was fortuntate to be able to attend most of the Sod Farm launch yesterday. I got there a bit late so I missed some of the "early action". All in all the weather was pretty mild for a Wisconsin January day. Light breeze and temps in the thirties. Theme was "saucers" and there were plenty of saucers and saucer types being flown, along with a number of other cool items. I had my trusty side-kick Jeremy with me and while he was a bit unsure about going intially, he talked about it the rest of the day. A big "Thanks" to Jerome for allowing Jeremy to talk your ear off. I think he gnawed on Paul's and Troys as well. I had a great time chatting, flying, laughing, and going ooooowwww and aaaaah. Some of my highlights were, Paul's Snarky, Jerome's Angry Bird Sputnik, Scott and his Vortico had me laughing hysterically, Spools, saucers, and a cool rocket of Joes ( I forgot the name) were just a few. I missed Mark and the Nike Smoke and Scott launching the Gooda Wooshka but heard all of the flight srories. I have enclosed a link to photos that I have uploaded that we took yesterday. Some of the pics were cropped as I should have had a different lens on. Keep in mind, my better half is the photographer. If you see something you like and want me to get you your own copy of it let me know. For those of there that were there- Thanks for letting me share the fun experciences with you. For those who couldnt attend, i look forward to seeing you at a launch soon. http://www.flickr.com/photos/rocket...57632448752539/

Great pics Russ, especially Paul's Snarky! That is such a cool rocket, and he always does a masterful job. Sure wish I could have been there.

We all missed ya. I spent quite a bit of time hanging out by Paul and Jerome. I was hoping some of there building skills would rub off on me. Then I went down by Scott and after talking with him, I wanted to stuff bigger motors in everthing hence the Chad staged Snitch.
