Default Baby Bertha

Another 7 dollar model rocket thanks to Hobby Lobby! I was wondering if anyone else has built and flown one? If so, how do they fly??!! I thought about a B4-4 or a B6-4 for the first flight.....ive never tried a B4-4 on anything! Have no idea about em!!

Do a search through the threads here as well, using "goony" as the search term. There are at least five or six pages of threads, many of them about a goony built using the Baby as a starting point.

A Baby Bertha is, for all intent and purpose, a goony Bertha...

A C11-5 provides a most interesting flight.

A Baby Bertha in stock form is a fun and reliable flyer. I squeeze a Semroc BT-60 baffle into my BB builds but other than that, like 'em just the way they are.

That said, my favorite variant (so far) is the Excelsior Goony Goblin....but I hung mine up in a power line some time ago and haven't yet replaced it.

That's a darn good look'in Baby Bertha. Dig the medium blue with chrome and white highlights.

B4-4 has actually a chance to get it few feet higher with the longer burn time if it's built light

I acquired 3 BB kits and have built goonies out of two of them. I'm thinking that I will build the last one straight up...
