Default New Design -- AAA Magnum Nike-Ram 2

AAA Model Aviation Fuels Magnum Nike-Ram 2 rocket 29mm mount.

Although mine was built primarily with parts purchased from Mike at Madcow Rocketry and an Estes PNC-80K nose cone, this Rocksim file features all Semroc parts with a big honkin Semroc BNC-80HK balsa cone. Only exception is the plywood disc plate used to seal the tube coupler for the payload section. I'm sure Semroc could make one from lite-ply to complete the required parts list.

Jason started a thread on this model located here and a nice decal set that I used for my build is already available from Sandman:

I hope to put some more F and G fights on it next Saturday. So far only the G40W-7 single use has been used for a successful flight and recovery. I fed the design file a number of E and F EconoJet, Single Use and RMS types and all but one that I selected did well from a 1/4" x 36" rod. The exception being the E23T-5. Although probably a good motor for a small field on a very calm day, you'll need a minimum of 50+ inches to get it stable so a 5 or 6 foot rod would be in order.

A fun rocket to build and fly with classic good looks.
