As for the Omega, I was going to scratch build one for my Boostervision camera...now I won't have to!

Omega with Boostervision in Cineroc look-alike capsule ..... I'm very interested in this. I always like to see how others have been building their homebrew camera rocket set ups and I've been interested lately in designing one. You just saved me the design work!

I'll commit to purchase one of the Semroc Omega with Boostervision set ups.

Will the kit ship with the Boostervision camera as a complete package, or will it ship without the camera with the capsule set up especially for mounting the Boostervision?

Will you also make the capsule available to current Boostervision users to expand your sales? It would seem to be a good way to sell some more of the Semroc Omega kits since there really isn't a dedicated vehicle made especially for the Boostervision set up. LOC/Precision had a package deal with Boostervision at one time to purchase a Weasel kit with the Boostervision but the buyer still had to modify the kit some to mount the camera IIRC.

Same here. I have Quest Icarus that I was going to mod for the camera, but a two stager like the Omega would be even better.

Default Omega Boostervision
To be honest and being somewhat lazy in designing my own homebrew, I'm more interested in a prepackaged ready to go set up. I'm sure at least some others will be interested to purchase for this reason

If the rocket was only offered without the camera but designed specifically for a shoe in for the Boostervision set up, I would buy the items separately - because I don't feel like making a MOD or figuring out how to mount the camera.

If I was already an owner of the Boostervision camera, I'd still buy the rocket because having my Boostervision ride in a Cineroc type capsule on top of an Omega rocket is just impossible to resist .....

Yeah, I kinda skipped mentioning the capsule part. Having that part already designed for the camera is a real plus, and like you guys said, the fact it looks like a Cineroc top is even better. But, I still like the idea of video capturing two stages as well.

Sort of off topic, but I'd like to see a boost glide video capture, and have the camera in the glider with a soaring, eagle eye view on the way down. I know weight and balance would be a big issue, but if the glider were big enough, and/or the battery light enough. Hmmm.....

Actually the Boostervision camera was originally set up for an R/C plane not a rocket.

It seems to work just fine ing a rocket!
