Here's the latest in the forward progression . . .

The latest, greatest, edition of vbulletin has been purchased. I'll spend part of today configuring that. Tomorrow, Sunday, we're out visiting our son down near Rolla (s/central Mo). So I'll do what I can in the morning.

If I was to take a swag, I'd say Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning TRF should be back up. Could be done sooner if I treated it like college finals but, I have some important projects to do at work. From there I'll get with Carl and try to reimport the old database.

BTW, those that were previously identified as moderators could you please PM me?

Thanks again for everyone's support and patience through this endeavor
Troy

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Folks, at this point and time I'd like to welcome aboard some new moderators who've stepped forward to answer the call to "Pay it Forward". Those individuals are:

Nicholas Berring (rangerstl)
Layne Pemberton (pem tech)
Will Marchant (willmarchant)
Tim Callendar (graylensman)
John Partridge (peartree)
John Tolppi (tolppisouth)
* one more still waiting to be announced

As we rectify our software problems and migrate over to a new provider, these individuals will be assigned to a portion of TRF. Please welcome them to the TRF staff, and don't poke them with any sticks.

Yeah, my post count was sitting at a little over 2 deci-Flis. I'd hate to have to start over ,too.

Good luck with the upgrade, Troy.

Okay folks, Eugenio and I were able to get all the information passed over to me today. So as we used to say in the Air Force, "We're cleared hot!"

I've got to get some sleep tonight and check into work tomorrow, and from there on out I'll be placing all my efforts into getting TRF back up and operational as soon as possible.

Thanks again for everyone's patience.

A BIG thanks for all your work! Looking forward to seeing it back up and running!

My forum withdrawl shakes are not as bad as they were about a week ago!

I am sure it will be up in time to cure my adiction!

Folks I wanted to thank you for the support and words of encouragement. I sincerely appreciate them.

Am going like the clappers to get this thing up as mentioned before, as soon as practical. I'm, literally, in the process of learning VBulletin as well as configuring things off-line. On top of that, this is my first full week in my new position within Boeing (over in Weapons Instructional Systems; kinda morbid when you really think about it), so am trying to please two crowds here. I woke up this morning at 2:30am to work a bit more on the site. I'm fairly anal retentive when it comes to things so it takes me a bit longer to comprehend somethings, however I was a manager of an IT department a few years ago in the Air Force - so that experienced has helped out.

I'll keep you posted . . .

Oh, btw, when TRF does come back up it'll naturally be the same web address and will, initially, have the same forums out there - so as not to confuse anyone. There is an updated MS Clipart rocket logo temporarily. From there I'll start stage II of data restoration.
