Hi,

I have a little project cooking wherein I'm doing a take-off on the Athena, and would like to hack some artwork. If anyone here has a source file of the decals - eg, Illustrator, EPS, Corel, etc - that would be a big help.

Is there a good scan anywhere?

I wouldn't mind drawing them up for general consumption but I can't find a scan, man.

I have them almost ready to print. I just have to clean up some lettering and layer a white undercoat for the drawing. I got them with all the files that Phred sent me.

But!

There is a line on the bottom that says, "Disclaimer, these are not a scan, they are redrawn from a photo and may not be accurate."

I don't know where they came from I just clicked on the "Athena" file and there they were.

I can't get ahold of Phred so I don't know where they came from.

Anybody want to hazard a guess?

Back on 8-5-08 in an Athena thread here on YORF http://www.oldrocketforum.com/showt...42&page=4&pp=10 , I posted a photo I had copied from eBay during an auction of a boxed Athena. The photo showed almost all of the decal. After I posted it, timorley drew a new decal from the photo and posted it and he put on the disclaimer. He later posted an updated decal file that says Version 1.1. You might check it out.

As did I.
I used both colors, as the Enerjet add seemed to show both colors in their picture. I used Tim's kindly renditions.

I've enclosed a few pictures, but here is the thread in the forum with lots of info.

OK, that must be where Phred go it.

The file I have is red and black.

But I can easily do all black.

No, I like the red and black. But I need to modify the decal. I sent a message to timorley asking for his source file. So hopefully, I can get those, hack them, then run them by you.
