Just placed an order for the Tesla kit. In my opinion, one of the best designs to come along in a while. When I looked at it I get a USS Andromeda feel about it. Nice design.

Is that plastic ring near or forward of the CG? Is it hollow and if so, what is its inside diameter? I'm envisioning sliding one of those glow stick bracelets the kids like in there for night flying...

Tesla #1 went for $200 at auction at the NARCON banquet tonight. Several others went home as door prizes. I wasn't one of the lucky ones, unfortunately.

VERY interesting looking design.

I know - I got one of NewWay's models..... I just didn't get a Fliskits Tesla. Lovely design it is.

The ring (hoop) is solid plastic. It's a macrame hoop, 6" diameter. It's below the CG due to the clay weight hidden in that length of BT-55 near the front...
