We need these back from Estes.
If they refuse for mamby-pamby nonsense reasons to bring back the B14-0, the LEAST they should do is bring the 18mm C5-0 back and DUMP the far LESS useful C6-0.

Don't wanna hear any of that C11-0 overpriced 24mm nonsense either.

It would be nice to see the entire B8 (-3,-5,-7,-0) and C5 (-3,-0) lineup brught back.
That would allow the dumping of B6-2, B6-6, B6-0, C6-3, and C6-0 which are all far LESS useful motors. Bring back the B4-6 that never should have been discontinued with the dumping of B6-6.
Estes has done a decent job by bringing back the A8-0 and A10-0T; they just need to continue with the good news and dump motors that make no sense.

There are many holes unfilled in the BP 18mm lineup, and there are also many redundant/overlapping motors NOBODY needs.

About a year or so ago Estes reduced the price of the C11 motors to match the price of the C6 motors.

They are still identical.

http://www.estesrockets.com/rockets/engines

MSRP $11.79

Heavily discounted by various vendors/retailers.

That may be so, but I never see the C11 at any local retail outlets/hobby stores for the same price.

Simply because they have old prices in their comouters or old prices on their shelf tags.

Perhaps they are "old and lower than current" prices? Sometimes, if they do not keep current, it is a good thing.....

If not, then hand them a copy of the Estes catalog with the price list in the center and point out the error. They should not charge over list price. Some small stores do charge over list price for motors that require HAZMAT shipping and associated charges, but there are few that do so. Most place orders large enough to spread the HAZMAT fee over many products in the box (fuel, E9, E12 motors, etc.)

I would never pay anywhere near $11.79 for a pack of under 10n-s each C anything engines anyway. C6's around me are usually somewhere around $8 and C11's around $9.79...BOTH of which are outrageous.

You need to get a waiver for oop motors from Ted Cochran if you want to fly at a club launch.

Which is easy to do.....just follow the info on the NAR site about the "expired motor test program" or some such. Anymore I just drop Ted an e-mail.

He does want to hear back how the motors did, whether all was well or not.
