Default Small Business Saturday

Please make the effort to support local and small businesses not only today but all month. They are there for you every day and right near you or easily accessible by internet.

Exemptions not regulations. Please support DOT treating slow burning solids as not subject to HMR. 2015 NAR President declines!

I agree with Jerry. It is important to help keep your local hobby store (if you still have one) in business. The prices are probably higher than online, but you are helping to keep someone in your local area employed. You also get a better look at what you are interested in, and may also meet, and get to know great people.

I have no problem paying a bit more at the LHS ( I have 3 near my work and one near my home).
That said, I WILL NOT pay full-blown retail, NOR will I pay 25% above what I can get online including shipping.
Some LHS get that, some do not.
Near me, Rider's in Flint is the one that refuses to lower their prices from full-retail.
They manage to get R/C car kids with IDIOT parents to pay it, but few else.
The only things I buy there are "emergency" r/c items, and glue.
When in doubt, WHACK the GAS and NEVER touch the brake !!!

I agree and the same goes for the people who advertise here. Plenty of rocketry suppliers on YORF could use the business as well.
