Default 3x Astron X-Ray Upscale

Finally finished my 3x Astron X-Ray upscale. Nose cone, transition, and decals by our very own Sandman (i.e. Roachwerks), body tube, motor mount, light ply, & recovery system from Sirius Rocketry.

My 1x Semroc X-Ray & 1.68x Roachworks upscales are included for comparison. 18, 24, & 29mm birds all in one pic!

I love the pre-Damon Estes markings for the X-Ray. I've always thought they gave a unique look that stands up well with time.

Nice job! Two questions, though - what is the diameter of the payload section and where did you find clear tub in that size? The X-Ray has always been one of my all time favorite models ever!

Hint #1: Do not use magician's flash paper for recovery wadding!

Hint #2: Clean your shoes after flyin' in that cow pasture - that ain't no dirt clod on the sole!

Very nice! Great job on everything!
I have an original X-Ray, built no decals. I've launched once and retired it.
