CHris Squire RIP
For the fans of Chris Squire, of the band Yes, I Am sure you all heard the sad news of his passing. Chris' music has been a huge part of my life for about 40 yaers now. He will be missed. For those model rocket fans unfamilar with his work he had a few space realted song out there, such as Starship Trooper, Astral Traveller, & Arriving UFO. R.I.P. Chris Squire

His music was no disgrace. They already have a ringer on lead vocals. His voice is a lot like Jon Anderson's and he's considerably younger. It makes me wonder if they will try to replace Squire and keep touring. There's no money in albums/CD's any more and guys like Squire and Steve Howe live for performing. What's odd to me is that I thought Howe was on his last leg 30 years ago and he's still kickin' and pickin'.

They already made plans for Chris' (temporary) replacement for the upcoming summer tour after Squires diagnoses with Leukemia in May. Sadly, it only took about 6 week from his diagnoses to his death. Howe does look a lot like Mr. Burns. I'm not sure what the band plans on doing once the tour is over. Chris was the keeper of the flame.
