Default Estes Pershing

Hello,
I am new to this site, and after 35 years, my 8 year old and I will finish my Pershing rocket. I found it in my room growing up at my Mom's house. The decals look shot, but everything else is how I left it. Does anyone know where I could get some decals?
Thanks,
Brian

Most people love the Pershing.

Me included.

But like I said in my email, go with a 29mm motor mount.

Here's my smaller Pershing based on a BT-80 (2.6").

mine's the one in the middle.

Talk about a choice find, and Mom never threw it out. I would check the glue on the fin attachment plates, they carry a little of the flight loads. I love Pershings, just ask Sandman.

It flies fine on 24mm motors. As long as it's an E28 or higher.

Thanks,
All the glue joints seem fine. Now I am finishing all the fins and filling the body tube spirals to ready for paint. This is really bringing back great memories. I also found my completed Phoenix AIM, Interceptor and some Russian rocket? Really cool.

Be advised: Sandman is renowned for his modesty. His Pershing is actually the one on the right.

Here are the others. My eight year old son is loving this! The Russian rocket is a SCUD.

Put a 29mm motor mount in it.
It does NOT fly decently on any 24mm motor under a E30 SU or E28 RMS.
