Actually, it's pronounced 'Steama's' in your best Boston accent.

Steamers ????

Just don't go to CLEVELAND for a "Cleveland Steamer"...I guarantee you won't like it.

For those that don't know what a Cleveland Steamer is, Google/Wiki it.

The "steamers" I'm referring to are little brittle-shelled clams. They're a gross-looking clam with a black siphon tube that hangs out of the shell (other clam species probably make fun of them behind their backs.) They're a MILLION times tastier than they look!

Whenever I've been fortunate to have them they've been served in a small pail or a saucepan with clam broth and clarified butter.

I'm drooling on the keyboard!

I'm a-thinkin' the CLEVELAND STEAMER has a much higher humor value than Steamer Clams.
Check it out.
WARNING ! It makes the Upper-Dekker, Logg Jamm, Old-Faithful, and Topp-Shelfer seem like good, clean, child's-play.
YEAAAHHHHH !
It's a HOOOOOT !

Those are them.
Just remove the neck 'grizzle' crap, dip in the broth to both clean them and warm them up, dip them in 'butta' and toss 'em in tour mouth, eat and enjoy!
Delish!
I'm jealous.

Default Loui's In Kenai, AK

Best restaurant by far in the Kenai/Soldotna, Alaska area is Loui's that is located in the Uptown Motel.

Seafood is the best I've eaten.....
