Supposedly Shatner has a horse farm in the Versailles, KY area - that's Woodford County, which has some distilleries. So I can't help thinking maybe that's a factor in Kirk getting hooked up with the Bourbon biz

It reminds me of a bit in Mark Twain's 'A Tramp Abroad': 'What, Sir, you don't like this wine label? I have another here in my pocket, let's put that one on and see how you like it.'

Following the link, at the bottom of the page, they list several cities, none in Kentucky. So there goes my Shatner/Versailles-Woodford County theory.

>> New York, Chicago, Dallas, Charlotte, Knoxville, Hollywood, Atlanta

He does. In fact the "American Pickers" show featured Shatner and his wife, with the pickers commissioned to find items to decorate their KY homestead. IIRC, one of the big purchases was a large grist mill grind stone.

tbzep is correct about all the details he gave about the Shatner episode of American Pikkers.

Blended whiskey sucks for anything but heavily mixed drinks.
