I cloned a Farside X a few years ago for NARAM 54 and finished it like the one on the back cover of the '66 and'67 Estes catalogs.

I had asked SEMROC about having basswood fins cut and Carl sent me a set. I was unable to attend, so I don't recall what the Pod Bay Doors flew it on, but it flew successfully and won Team division thanks to the mission points for stages.
I did not cant the first stage fins.
