WANTED: Info on the Estes Spin Fin (1355)
Estes Spin Fin (1355) Question.
I know that the length of the streamer is 30", but I can't find its width, and I forget if it's plastic, or crepe paper. I seem to remember plastic. Can anybody fill in the info?

100% certain it was the same orange PLASTIC streamer used in the Wizard kit for years as well.
I don't recall the width.

Good Catch... the part number for both, and the current version of the Wizard (1292) is the same. Anyone got one that they can measure? I want to double-check my numbers on the Wizard now.

Incidentally, I built both my Estes Spin fin and Centuri Twister WITHOUT the canted fins to cause them to fly without spin. Other than having a "twisty exhaust trail", all the fin-canting does on an already stable rocket is cause a loss of peak altitude for given impulse.
