Preliminary calculations tell me a hair over 8 gram ejection charges will be needed, on both sides of the bay. I cut the tube length for the charge holders to accommodate that and a bit more, with a little room for stuffing too. Final assembly of the bulkheads is now complete with charge cups, terminal blocks, U-bolts, and two 5/16" rods to hold it all together. All hardware outside of the bay is stainless steel, everything on the inside is plain zinc plated. All items fastened with nylon insert lock nuts. The sled is nothing fancy. a piece of plywood with some cardboard tubes to ride the rods.

It's getting close. Is there a possibility there may be a shakeout flight on the 16th and 17th this month?

That was the plan from the start, was going to fly again at MWP. Had to put it aside though, work got weird and life got crazy. I should get it wrapped up this winter as all things slow down, time has not been on my side lately. I will not be able to set a new launch date until the planning meeting in January - stay tuned!
