Default What is 2x a BT-50

I am currently building a model rocket with a BT-50 as the main tube.
I am also building the same model scaled up 2x
is there a standard bodytube that is 2x a BT-50?

Also do you know of a source for 1/8 launch lug tubes that are about 7-8 inches long?
I built a mercury capsule and I need the launch lug to penetrate the body

Checkout www.semroc.com

They have an ST-20 tube that is just over two times the diameter of the BT-50. They also have long launch lugs.

BMS also sells long launch lugs.

ST-18 is slightly smaller than 2x BT-50 and ST-20 is slightly larger..... both are available from Semroc. So are 1/8 inch ID launch lugs up to 9.5 inches long.

At the risk of blowing my own horn :

http://www.rocketshoppe.com/info/SemrocEstes.pdf

You'll see that Semroc ST-18 is 1.89X (189%) of an Estes BT-50, while a Semroc ST-20 is 2.09X (209%) of a BT-50.

If you want an updated version of this chart, please post a reply here on this thread.

Cheers,
