Looks Nice.
What did you use for the ring? Is that just a couple layers of bt 101's? or..... O.k. I just saw your build on the "other" forum. Nice job. I knew that ring looked thicker than just bt's Last edited by nelie61 : 04-06-2019 at 04:51 PM. |

Thanks all, I'm very happy with the way this one turned out.

It would certainly be easier to use a piece of 5" tubing if I had some lying around (I don't), but I think the thicker look is better, and fabricating the curved balsa pieces is really fun and satisfying. And I needed to get some more use out of the 4" PVC couplers that I used for previous bending tasks. |

I was packing my Screemin' Green Meenie for travel yesterday and I thought to myself that ring fins seem to have fallen out of fashion lately. I guess I was wrong!
Nice job, Neil. |
