SpaceX StarShip Alpha
Comrades:
Now for some silly fun. Attached is Elon's new Starship Alpha or StarHopper or whatever it is, as it sits today at the new launch site in the Rio Grande delta. The pictures shows the rocket, my line drawing based on the rocket picture and an assembly picture that gives some scale to the size of those landing legs. So assuming the astronaut is 6 ft. tall with 3" of space helmet over his scalp, he is 75" tall total making the scale of the rocket 1/114. I think this one is doable. It'd be fun if only a small piece of the cone opened so that it could come down with a mylar parachute and recover Mars Lander style. A little Duplicolor Chrome paint . . . . Gonna hafta muse on this one. Ideas?
