Shivastra-I sounding rocket
Hello All,
A new, joint Indian/Ukrainian sounding rocket is under development by Bharuk Aerospace Ltd. (see: www.bharuk-as.co.cc and www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ZIvp6V_Fq4 ). The Shivastra-I, which rather resembles the Sparoair III (air-launched) sounding rocket (but with strakes as well as fins on the first of its two stages), can reach an altitude of 200 km with a maximum payload weight of 10 kg. They are also working on a microsatellite launch vehicle called Shivastra-II. I hope this material will be helpful.
