New Snarky Project?
Well, folks, I'm almost ready to finally start working on my DynaStar Snarky model.
However, I would like to paint it like the Air Force Thunderbird scheme. But I can't even imagine masking and painting that excellent design. Does anyone know of a decal set that would fit the Snarky?

Do you think it can be done with red and black Monokote adhesive trim film?

I don't see why not except the red tip of the nosecone. I would have to have a good set of original drawings to scale to the Snarky. Hmmm... I'll have to see what I can find.
I think the dark parts are actually navy blue instead of black though. Does anyone have the plastic model and can scan the decals from that for me?

I might know somebody that has them. What exactly IS the plane and what's the scale?

I'll have to pull it from "the stack" and measure it. But if I can get a copy of the model decals, I can probably scale them myself to fit.

OK, but what kind of jet fighter is it? F-18? F-22? F-86? F-12 & 7/8?
Or is the real plane actually called "snarky"?

F-16 Fighting Falcon or Viper, depending on the model and the pilots attitude. I "think" the Thunderbirds fly the F-16A.

Ok, I get it.
The Thunderbirds did fly the F16. Not sure if they still do or not. The Snarky isn't modeled after a real plane I don't think. Kind of looks like a cross between the F16 and the F8. The Snarky definitely has a different tail configuration than the F16 so there will have to be some modification of the decal set there.

I think the "real" Snarky was a target drone(?)
