Default Estes Mini Fat Boy Build

My Estes Long John Silver is coming along slowly since my paint area is being occupied for home improvements. I figure this little bird can be painted in a much smaller area. The kit is a standard high quality Estes rocket. The decals are waterslide but look like the old peel and stick. The build is straight forward with no modifications from the plans.

Did the display stand come with the model?
Just curious, that style of stand came with the Goonybirds years back.

The Mini Fat Boy is done and it was a fun build. I brushed on 4 coats of Aerogloss balsa sealer and shot with Plastikote Primer. The red and blue are Testors spray cans.

Once again, great masks at the fin root edge and around the leading edge joint!

Great job on the Mini Fat Boy, I Modified mine to use 18mm motors. I also painted my fins
silver instead of the baby blue. here is a pic on the launch pad awaiting a Drag Race with my
Centuri Little Ivan. ( the Ivan Won off the pad and went higher).
