I am all done and can't wait to take her out flying. I used the original decals and they went on ok. I only had one shot so I made sure the decal was placed where I wanted it.

Super! Make sure you launch it during very calm days; the Omega is famous for severe
weathercocking once it leaves the launch rod.

Your rocket is beautiful!

Would you mind posting what kind of primer and paint you used? I can't ever get a metallic finish to look half as good as that, and the white looks powder-coated.

Thanks

I use Aerogloss balsa sealer for the fins, about 4 to six coats. I spay one light coat of grey Krylon primer. After 5 min. spray a heavy coat of grey primer. Sand the primer smooth and apply one coat of Krylon flat white. Let this dry overnight and the next day wet sand the white with 600 sandpaper. Spray one heavy coat of Krylon Glossy white and then I am done. The silver is Krylon silver over Krylon black primer.

I want to say thanks to jdbectec for turning me onto this thread...

scigs30, that is one SWEET LOOKING Omega. Sorry it too me so long to find this and say that.
